Imagination & Creativity…this is what our kids need more of these days. I am a busy entrepreneur mom with 3 young kids, so trust me there are a lot of times where it is just easier to let them play their games on their tablets! But the look on my son’s face when he was showing me these pictures of his farm that he put together, with no help, just his own imagination & creativity, reminded me how important it is for kids to have that. Without us even realizing he used problem solving, imagination, creativity & his motor skills to create his “farm”. These are things that can be hard to teach, but something that needs to be encouraged. Now this is not your typical “Instagram mom” post, so don’t feel bad that if your kid watches tv or is on their tablets, because like I said in the beginning…MINE DO TOO! But just wanted to share this with you. I know that my time flies by, I have a lot on the go, but when something like this stops me in my tracks, I feel like I need to share it.
